Holiday Lantern Tour

Please note: While this is a family oriented program, it may be too long for preschoolers and younger. This is really appropriate for children 6 and over.

This is a special program to celebrate the Holidays. Through a personalized guided lantern tour, participants will learn about holiday celebrations in Northwest Ohio in the late 1800s and early 1900s. Stops include the 1910 Homestead, the District 16 Schoolhouse and St Mark’s Church and NEW in ’08 The Elmira Depot. Along the way, your guide will share stories about Christmases past and the history of Northwest Ohio.

Sauder Village

Note: We did this last year, and I highly recommend it. The tours are small enough for personal attention (the children get to help decorate the house, any questions are answered, etc.)
