Autumn Activities
September 30, 10:00 AM , Side Cut

Harvesting Seeds
October 21, 2:00 PM, Oak Openings Preserve
"Help us sow the seeds of a sustainable regional ecosystem. Meet at Oak Openings to collect seeds from our prairies and meadow. Then to Blue Creek Conservation Area where we will tour the seed storage and growing areas to learn why this work is so crucially important to our local habitat."

Watercolor the Pre-Winter Landscape
November 18, 1:00 PM, Side Cut
"Explore nature through artwork. First we take a nature walk to sketch ideas and then we will paint those sketches with watercolor. Activities, crafts and a walk will be available for children too young to participate in the art project."

Each program requires individual registration and is $3-$5 per student.

Note: The Toledo Area Metroparks offer many other activities for families and children besides the homeschool programs listed here. Check out all of them at their calendar.
