TMA Family Center

"The Family Center at the Toledo Museum of Art is a hands-on play space and art studio created just for families. It is located on the Lower Level of the Museum next to the Resource Center. The Family Center is open Sunday 11 a.m.-4.30 p.m., Tuesday 10 a.m.-3p.m. and Thursday 10 a.m.-3 p.m. and is always free."

BGSU Young People's Concert: Taiko!

Saturday, February 9, 2008
For centuries, Japanese drums (taiko) have been used during harvest time, festivals and more. More recently, taiko performers have created an exciting new musical experience. Hear and see this new (and loud!) tradition with Dr. Paul Yoon and the BGSU Hayabusa Taiko Ensemble. You’ll get a chance to learn Japanese matsuri dancing, a drumming pattern and maybe even a chance to hit the drum!

11 a.m. in the Moore Musical Arts Center

Admission is $1 for children, and $2 for adults, and is payable at the Box Office the morning of the concert. The Box Office will open at 10:30 a.m. for each concert.
